The Beginning
Founded as Hendricks Fluid Systems. Developed the first gravity dewatering filter bed system using stainless-steel wedgewire — a revolutionary alternative to slow, space-consuming sand drying beds.
Polyurethane Innovation
Developed the high-strength polyurethane Wedgewater™ media — more economical and corrosion-proof than stainless steel. This product line remains in service at facilities installed over 40 years ago.
Growth & Expansion
Company became Gravity Flow Systems, Inc. and was acquired by Aqua Care Systems, Inc., expanding the reach and capabilities of the product line.
New Ownership
Current owners purchased the company assets and renamed it Gravity Flow Systems Southwest, Inc. — bringing renewed focus on customer service and product quality.
Colorado Relocation
Company relocated to Leadville, CO with manufacturing operations in Denver. High-altitude headquarters, precision manufacturing at scale.
